Welcome to Odyssey Electrical Services, Wiltshire & Bath’s best electrician, with the best prices. I operate all over Wiltshire & Somerset including Bath, Bradford on Avon, Calne, Chippenham, Colerne, Corsham, Devizes, Frome, Malmesbury, Melksham, SwindonTrowbridge, Westbury, Warminster, and all of the villages in between.

I always put the customers needs first.  I will not install something if it is not required.  I will not charge you for my travelling time, which most businesses do.  I will always contact every customer to make sure that they are happy with the work completed and I always give the best service possible.

I am an NICEIC registered electrician based in Corsham, Wiltshire.  I am a ‘Sole Trader’ and my qualifications include:

BTEC First Diploma in Engineering: 

Covering the fundamentals of Electrical and Mechanical engineering.

 

City & Guilds (Level 3) Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings:  

The Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings is for those working in the building trades and others who need to know how electrical installations in homes can affect the building construction.

 

City & Guilds Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations – BS 7671: 2011)

BS 7671 (The IET Wiring Regulations) is the national standard to which all domestic and industrial wiring must conform.  The IET Wiring Regulations are of interest to all those concerned with the design, installation and maintenance of electric wiring in buildings and is the necessary qualification for electricians.  An electrician cannot register with the NICEIC or alike without this qualification.

 

City & Guilds Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification.

Containing a significant number of “hands on” workshop style training sessions and all of the theory, which covers all of the processes involved in initial verification, and functional testing as described in Part 6 of BS7671:2008, and also within IET Guidance Note 3.

 

City & Guilds qualified plumber (see Plumbing page for more details)

The 6129 level 2 course starts with basic pipe work skills and moves onto more complex plumbing tasks, including airing cupboards, bathroom suites, above ground drainage, central heating installation (no gas/oil), lead work and low carbon steel. This C&G 6129 Plumbing qualification forms the basis of knowledge for all modern domestic plumbing.
